The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sophia Girls' College (Autonomous), Ajmer is dedicated towards developing a quality system for conscientious, consistent and catalytic programmed action to improve the overall academic and administrative performance of the Institution.
This Committee deals with the development and application of quality benchmarks/ parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution. It disseminates information on the various quality parameters of higher education. organization of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles are some of its core functions. It also conducts Faculty Development Programmes to update the knowledge and skills of Faculty. The IQAC is also involved in the preparation of the Annual Quality Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters.
It is focused towards developing holistic academic excellence by promoting measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internationalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

The Purchase Committee is formed to cater to the needs and requirements of the academic, administrative, and managerial work of the College. The Finance Committee acts as an advisory body to the Governing Body which considers the budget estimates pertaining to the grants received or receivable by the UGC. The Environment and Energy Audit Committee of Sophia Girls' College (Autonomous), Ajmer plays a crucial role in promoting Environmental Sustainability by formulating various Environmental policies, evaluating energy usage, environmental impact, and recommending strategies for improvement. It is responsible for conducting regular audits to assess energy consumption patterns, identifying inefficiencies, determining the environmental footprint including resource usage, waste generation and emissions and proposing solutions for energy conservation.
Regular check ups regarding the Air Quality Index, Water Quality Index and Soil Quality Index are some of the best practices of this committee.
The institution boasts of 100 kw Solar panels; 100, 000 litres Rain Water Harvesting capacity and a Biogas plant which again comes under the immediate responsibility of this committee.
