About Us
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sophia College (Autonomous), Ajmer is dedicated towards developing a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic programmed action to improve the overall academic and administrative performance of the Institution. It is focused towards developing holistic academic excellence by promoting measures for Institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internationalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
TEN ACTIONS POINTS FOR INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELLS (IQAC)
- Designing and implementing Annual Plans for Institution-level activities for quality enhancement.
- Arrange for feedback responses from students for quality-related Institutional processes.
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the Institution.
- Retrieval of information on various quality parameters of higher education and best practices followed by other Institutions.
- Organization of workshops and seminars on quality-related themes and promotion of quality circles and Institution-wide dissemination of the proceedings of such activities.
- Development and application of innovative practices in various programmes/activities leading to quality enhancement.
- Participation in the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive for quality education.
- Work for the development of internalization and institutionalization of quality enhancement policies and practices.
- Act as a nodal unit of the Institution for augmenting quality- related activities.
- Prepare focused Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQARs).

- To develop professional competence among the faculty members, IQAC
organized the following Faculty Development Programs •
- Eight for Academic Enrichment of Teaching Staff,

- The IQAC conducted an Internal and an
External Academic Audit-
- The Internal Academic Audit was held on 9th December,2025.
- The External Academic Audit on 21st December, 2025.
- The NIRF & AISHE report were successfully submitted on the portals
- The IQAC facilitated the planning and conduction of the
International as well as National Conferences, Seminars, Workshops,
Webinars and Exchange Program for the promotion of a cohesive
research and innovative culture.
- The Five-day National Workshop on “NAVIC – The Game Changer,” from 28th July 2025 to 01st August 2025.
- National Workshop on “Peace, Harmony, and Gandhian Values in Contemporary Society” in collaboration with Gandhi Samiti on 11th October 2025.
- A Two- Day National Conference titled “Resilient Geographies: Pathways to Sustainable Development and Viksit Bharat” was organized on 15th and 16th December, 2025
- “Eunoia: Students’ Seminar” in collaboration with five MOU institutions: Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, St. Xavier's College, Jaipur, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), GSSDGS Khalsa College Patiala and The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, Bhopal, M.P. with the aim of empowering and encouraging young scholars to engage in thoughtful academic discourse and interdisciplinary exploration. The collaborative seminar was conducted over the period spanning 31st October 2025 to 19th March 2026.

Action Taken
- Parents feedback constitute a regular mechanism at the institution. The courses are designed in accordance with the feedback received, and parents offer constructive suggestions that aid the academic, professional, and technical advancement of the institution.
- The institution firmly upholds that parents serve as a child’s first role models and educators, and it actively incorporates their feedback and suggestions to support the holistic development of students.
- Various vocational programs are organized to acquaint students with professional environments, employment prospects, and career pathways, recognizing that career readiness is central to the learning process.
- An effective online functioning mechanism enables students to access e-content, e-tutorials, and web resources, including a specialized self-assessment feature. Complementing this, the experienced and dynamic faculty conduct regular blended learning sessions to facilitate comprehensive student learning.
- In order to ensure transparency and keep parents informed, the college sends regular SMS updates regarding institutional events, functions, important deadlines, holidays and examination dates.

- Parent Feedback has been a regular feature of the Institution. The design of our courses is in tune with the latest feedback we receive from the Parents. The Parents give their valuable suggestions for academic, professional and technical growth of the Institution.
- The Institution has an effective Online Functioning Mechanism through which gives easy access to ‘E-Content,E-Tutorial, Web Resources along with an exclusive feature for Self-Assessment. The experienced, knowledgeable and vibrant Staff of the Institution took a step ahead and conducted regular Blended Learning classes for all students.
- Our Institution is an ardent believer that Parents ia a child’s first role model and teacher. We value their feedback and their suggestions for holistic development of student.
- Various vocational courses are conducted to make our students aware about the work culture, jobs, placements and opportunities because career readiness is pivotal to learning.
- To keep the Parents updated with the entire functioning of the institution, the College sends regular messages about every event, functions, due dates, exam dates, etc. through SMS to the student’s Parents.

Alumni Feedback Analysis
Action Taken
- The institution gathers and evaluates alumni feedback to document and incorporate their accomplishments.
- The institution’s alumni actively support their alma mater in multiple roles—as counselors, educators, resource persons, and employers—and serve on statutory bodies, contributing to curriculum development and campus programs.
- As BOS members, alumni actively contribute to curriculum design and evaluation, improving course applicability, content quality, syllabus progression, assessment schemes, examination patterns, and students’ employability.
- The institution conducted a session to update alumni on its new autonomous status and functioning.
- Adopting the UGC-prescribed Four Quadrant Model of E-Learning, the institution has established an efficient online mechanism for all students. A tailored ERP portal enables access to e-content, tutorials, web resources, and self-assessment tools, while the student-parent portal provides real-time updates on enrollment, attendance, exams, academic performance, and results.

- The Alumni Feedback was collected and analyzed to add and update their achievements.
- The Alumni has always contributed to its Alma Mater by performing different roles as counselors, educators, resource persons and employers as well. - This session a Master Program in Psychology was initiated on Alumni’s demand.
- The Institution has an effective Online Functioning Mechanism- The Four Quadrant Model of E Learning (as prescribed by the UGC). For the benefit and appropriateness of all students. A customized Enterprise Resource Planning Portal has also been developed wherein there is a provision of accessing E Content, E Tutorial, Web Resources and an exclusive feature of Self-Assessment. The Student/Parent portal provides all necessary information about students’ enrolment, attendance, examination alerts, class performance as well as results.
- A special session was organised to acquaint the Alumni about the newly acquired Autonomous status of the Institution and its functioning.

- As per the suggestion of the members of the Board of Studies (BOS), students are involved in curriculum design and evaluation in all departments. Their contribution includes review course relevance, content quality, syllabus flow, assessment methods, examination patterns and employability aspects.
- The institution organizes mentor–mentee sessions to foster meaningful relationships with students and resolve their queries individually. These sessions involve one-on-one interactions aimed at enhancing skills, providing career counselling, and supporting academic development.
- The institution follows an effective online system based on the UGC-prescribed ‘Four Quadrant Model of E-Learning.’
A customized ERP portal has been designed to support students by providing access to e-content, tutorials, web

- The institution consistently conducts employer feedback analysis to enhance academic and professional outcomes. .
- Based on employer feedback, the curriculum was updated to align with current industry needs. The BOS of all streams implemented revisions, introducing topics that enhance employability and entrepreneurial skills. .
- Recognizing that employers favor graduates with training in Personality Development and Soft Skills, the institution has launched multiple value-added courses to equip students with these essential competencies. .
- Analyzing feedback, the institution revised the syllabus to strengthen students’ competencies, subject expertise, employability, teamwork, communication skills, and overall attitude. .
- The institution’s Research Development Cell conducts workshops to develop students’ writing skills, thereby strengthening their professional competence and employability. .

- Employer Feedback Analysis has been a consistent feature of the Institution.
- The employees basically look for college graduates having done courses on personality development Soft Skill Etc. We valued their opinion and launched various value added courses.
- It was suggested by the employers that curriculum should be upgraded as per the current requirement and the request was conveyed to the Board of Studies of all streams. As per the suggestions the curriculum was revised and topic related with employability and entrepreneurial skills were introduced.
- The ‘Research Development Cell’ organizes regular workshops to improve their writing skills to make them more successful in the workplace.
- Analyzing their Feedback, we updated our syllabus in which we focused on increasing their competency skills, subject knowledge, fitness for job, group dynamics, communication skills and inculcating the right attitude.
- The College certifies and acknowledges its Star Entrepreneurs who have taken a pioneering leap in generating employability.
