Bharat Scout and Guide Unit – Sophia College (Autonomous), Ajmer
Motto: "Be Prepared"
The Bharat Scouts and Guides is a national, non-political and voluntary youth movement aimed at the holistic development of young people through character building, leadership training, and community service. It focuses on nurturing responsible citizens who are physically strong, mentally alert, and morally upright.
Sophia College (Autonomous) established its Bharat Scout and Guide Unit in the year 2023 with the objective of promoting the spirit of service, discipline, and leadership among students. The unit operates under the Rover and Ranger scheme, which is specially designed for college-level youth.
The unit has an enrollment capacity of 48 students, providing opportunities for interested students to actively participate in scouting and guiding activities. Since its inception, the unit has been working towards developing essential life skills such as teamwork, self-reliance, leadership, and social responsibility.
